NewsTalk International helps pre-teens and young teens build confidence in English through lively discussions about real-world news. Students learn to think, share ideas and explore the world together.
Who is it for?
For children aged 9–14 who can hold a simple conversation in English and are ready to:
• Speak with more confidence
• Share ideas about interesting topics
• Practise English with other learners
Shy speakers are welcome—we help everyone join in.
Maximum 5 students per group
How it works
• One 60-minute online lesson each week on Google Meet or Voov
• A short article and video provided before each class
• Guided discussion with time for everyone to speak
• A brief class report afterwards
• Optional homework for extra practice

Level A
Building confidence
For children who can have a simple conversation but need help explaining their ideas.
We provide useful words, guiding questions and plenty of encouragement to help them speak up.
Level B
Developing opinions
For children who can explain their opinions in English and are ready for deeper discussions.
We help them give reasons, consider different viewpoints and disagree respectfully.

I’ve spent almost 30 years teaching English to young learners and teens, focusing on creativity, confidence, and real communication. My goal is simple: help students enjoy learning English, and feel confident and proud while using it.
A MESSAGE FOR PARENTS
Your child doesn’t need perfect English to join in. I help each learner feel comfortable, find the words they need and share their ideas at their own pace. Through interesting stories and friendly discussions, we build confidence, curiosity and respect for others.
LESSON RECORDINGS FOR REVIEW
After each class, I share the lesson recording with parents so your child can revisit the discussion, review vocabulary and practise again at home.
